MEZCAL TROPICAL

“Pineapple” has many connotations. It can be cheating, an annoying person, a synonym of bad luck and a delicious fruit, it all depends on the country where you name it. Fortunately for this drink we will use its fruity version and with all the luck and without being annoying, we will make a drink that everyone will surely love.

We will be needing:

  • 1.5 oz. Púa Mezcal joven
  • 1  oz. Pineapple juice (the fruit, eh)
  • 1 oz. Agave nectar
  • 1 oz. Cointreau licor
  • 1 oz. Eureka lime juice
  • Worm salt or piquin chili powder
  • A shaker with strain
  • A nice glass for serving

Steps

  1. Go for that initial move of taking the glass to the fridge
  2. Take your shaker and pour in all the liquids one by one
  3. Then add a few ice cubes in the shaker and mix!
  4. Take your chilled glass, sprinkle some lemon juice on the rim and sprinkle it with the worm salt
  5. With the assistance of your strainer, pour the drink into the glass and that’s it

In less than 5 minutes you have a delicious (and enviable) drink.

You can decorate your glass with an orange wedge or if you want to go to the next level, with a piece of dehydrated pineapple.

How’s it going?

Time to say cheers and to follow us on @puamezcal
