3 AMAZING DIY MEZCAL COCKTAILS

So there you are, trying to create some amazing mezcal cocktails, ah? That’s great and we’re here to help you. Whether you are an amazing mixologist or just starting out, worry no more, these 3 cocktails we are about to show you are easy to make and with products that you can truly find in your cooler or supermarket so take your mezcalito, give yourself a try, and be ready to experience new flavors!

Mezcalini

  • 1 lemon juice
  • 30 ml of Hibiscus concentrate
  • 30 ml of mezcal (or a little bit more, its up to you)
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 2 lime slices
  • 1 lime for frosting
  • Worm salt or regular salt for frosting

Lots of swag

First, frost a glass. Moisten the rim with the lime wedge, so you can add the salt of your preference. Set aside.

Then, pour the lime juice, hibiscus concentrate and mezcal into a shaker. Shake and let stand for a minute. In the meantime go to @puamezcal and follow us bud. Btw, if you don’t have a shaker, you can use any protein bottle for example, just make sure you get rid of all that vanilla-chai-zerogluten-powder.

Once the time is up and you gave us some digital love, add ice and shake again vigorously. Get rid of all your stress in this step (works better than yoga, we promise)

Pour the preparation in the glass, serve garnished with a slice of lemon.

Mango Mezcal Frappe

  • 1 oz mezcal
  • 1 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz mango juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 2 chilito piquín tablespoons

This cocktail couldn’t be any easier, got the ingredients? Got a blender? Then you are ready to go.

First, use the chile piquín powder to frost the glass with a little bit of lemon

Then, pour all the other ingredients in your blender and frapp-it -all out of it.  Pour the mix in your glass and my dear Mezcalovers, you are all set to enjoy an easy and delicious mezcal cocktail.

Ginger mezcal

  • 1 oz honey syrup
  • 2 oz mezcal
  • 2 oz ginger beer
  • Juice from 1/2 of a lime
  • Chilito piquín powder (we love it, as you can see)

If you are a ginger beer fan and its flavor, this cocktail is for you. As always, start by frosting your glass with chile piquín. Put a lot of ice in a relatively large glass that you have, pour all the ingredients but the ginger beer in there and stir them with a spoon for at least a minute. Get rid of that ice (be careful with your drink) and pour everything in the glass you had frosted before. Add some fresh new ice and finish it with that sweet-and-sour ginger beer.

As you can see, all these drinks can be made in less than 5 minutes and will make you look like a star with your friends, your family or just for you.

In the end, mezcal can be paired with a thousand things, but what really matters is that it pairs with you.

Here´s to you!
